“Miami on My Tongue”

is more than a song—it is Soleil River Nation’s love letter to the city she calls home.

Written and performed by the 12-year-old Miami Beach singer-songwriter, the upbeat pop anthem captures the sound, flavor, culture, sunshine, and energy that make Miami unlike anywhere else. With Latin-inspired rhythms, stadium-style chants, and a catchy hometown hook, the song celebrates the many communities and cultures that come together to create Miami’s identity.

“Miami on My Tongue” was selected as the winning Miami anthem of Elevated Tracks 305, a first-of-its-kind civic music initiative presented by Elevate Cities and Elevate Miami in partnership with Guitars Over Guns, Young Musicians Unite, and the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. The winning song was chosen through a combination of public voting and industry judging, giving the Miami community a direct role in selecting the music that represents its spirit.

Following the win, Soleil performed “Miami on My Tongue” live at FIFA Fan Festival Miami 2026, bringing the song to one of the city’s most exciting international stages. The performance marked a powerful moment for a young local artist whose song began as a personal celebration of Miami and quickly grew into a citywide movement.

At its heart, “Miami on My Tongue” is about belonging. It reminds listeners that Miami’s greatest strength comes from its people, neighborhoods, traditions, languages, and fearless creativity.

The song is now available on all major streaming platforms. Listen, share, and help put Miami on the world’s tongue.
