DESCRIPTION:Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre\, in partnership with presenting sponsor The Children’s Trust\, is thrilled to present the 15th annual Young Talent Big Dreams Semifinals. The competition – the most widespread\, local FREE youth talent contest in Miami-Dade County history – features student performers ages 8-18 competing for prizes that range from cash awards and performance opportunities to prestigious performing arts scholarships\, thanks to generous supporting sponsors like the Coral Gables Rotary Club\, SouthState Bank and United Property Management A Milton Family Company. The grand prize winner will receive $500 in cash provided by Actors’ Playhouse\, and four tickets to Universal Studios Florida/Islands of Adventure for two days to two parks courtesy of WSVN 7News. \nThe semifinals take place before a live audience. Categories for the Semifinals on Sunday\, May 4 will include Individual Dance\, Individual Musical Instrument\, Original Composition\, Spoken Word\, Group Dance and Group Musical Instrument/Bands. \nThe semifinals take place before a live audience.
